  • 7 days post return medical treatment if initial treatment is not sought overseas.
  • Covers loss of deposit or cancellation due to bankruptcy or financial insolvency of travel agency registered in Singapore.
Eligibility for cover
  • The applicant must be a domiciled in Singapore.
  • The applicant must be a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore or has a valid employment Pass or Work Permit to work in Singapore or has a Dependant Pass of Long Term Visit Pass.
  • The trip must not be for the purpose of seeking medical treatment.
Other Enrollment Information
  • Age shall mean the age of the Insured or Insured Person on his/her next birthday on the start date of the period of Insurance stated in the certificate of Insurance and/or Policy.
  • An adult shall mean a person who is age 18 years old and above at the commencement of the Trip.
  • Male who is serving National Service or waiting for enlistment is construed as an a Adult.
Commencement of Coverage
  • All trip must start and end in Singapore.
  • Travel Insurance must be purchased before commencment of trip from Singapore.
Duration of Trips
  • Up to 16 days (for each additional day $5)
Major Exclusions
  • Any treatment undertaken for relief of chronic illness, for example renal dialysis, chemotherapy for cancer radiotherapy for cancer.
  • Any immunizations, routine medical examinations, cosmetic sugery and other elective treatments and surgical procedures.
  • Loss resulting from horse riding activities.
  • War and kindred risks and government acts.
  • Nuclear/Chemical/Biological Terrorism Exclusion. (LSW 1176)

For how many days after arriving in Singapore can I claim medical treatment from the Singapore General Practitioner (GP) clinic ?

Within 72 hours after arrival in Singapore and the onset of illness started while in Saudi.

How can I claim for follow up treatment?

You can submit your claim through our online portal at https://claims.stntinternational.com/

How many days after claim submission will I get my reimbursement?

Claims processing time will vary depending on the complexity of the claims. It should normally take 2 to 4 weeks upon receipt of the signed discharge voucher from you.

Can I put other people's bank accounts no. if I don’t have a bank account?

Yes you can provided you are the next of kin or spouse. Signature has to be the claimant’s signature.

What do I do if I lose my EMA card?

You may retrieve your e-card directly from our website portal (https://claims.stntinternational.com) or alternatively you can contact +966 597 316004 (Saudi local number).

How does cashless seamless medical assistance work?

Please produce our EMA card at our partner hospitals. You will get consultation with medication without any upfront payment.

Is there a time limit for filing a claim?

Within 31 days of the expiry of the Period of insurance stated in the Certificate of Insurance.

What happens if my claim is denied?

If your claim is denied due to insufficient documentation, we would need you to provide us the full documentation before the appeal.

What do I do in case of a medical emergency outside of regular business hours in Makkah and Madinah?

In what situation do I need to pay for medical expenses/Is there any exception to the cashless seamless condition?

Cashless Seamless are for medical consultation in our list of hospital partners only. We strongly advise you to seek medical attention at our hospital partners to ease your claims submission.

Can I take up additional policy if I find ST&T coverage insufficient?

Yes you may do so. Do remember to select the correct region coverage as it is a common mistake done by pilgrims.

Can I submit a claim from 2 or more insurance companies?

Yes you can. If you have more than 2 insurance policy covering the same medical condition, both insurer will coordinate to share the bills, subjected to any regulatory requirement if CPF related medical insurance is involved.

What do I do if my baggage is damaged upon arrival in Saudi?

Inform your travel agency to fill up a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) form and take photos of the damaged baggage. It wil l be best if you have the original purchase receipt(s). With these documents, please submit the claims in the claims portal.

Before you exit the gate, inform your travel agency to get the Airline Property Irregularity Report (PIR) form and take photos of the damaged baggage. It will be best if you have the original purchase receipt(s). With these documents, please submit the claims in the claims portal.

I have lost my phone in Saudi and what should I do?

Make a police report and inform your travel agency to fill up a Property Irregularity Report (PIR) form. Call your telco to suspend your service. It will be best if you have the original purchase receipt(s). With these documents, please submit the claims in the claims portal.

My flight is delayed, can I claim it?

Do note that travel delay claim is computed based on the delay of the departure time of the scheduled flight and not based on the arrival time. Yes you can claim if it meets the above criteria exceeding 6 hours.
